TotalSDS is a leading B2B technology company that offers a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution alongside professional services for the EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) market. Our products—TotalSDS Author and TotalSDS Manager—are designed to streamline the process of authoring and managing Safety Data Sheets. Position Overview

The Sales Executive should have a strong understanding of the SaaS sales process and a proven track record of sales success, excel at prospecting and generating leads, and love closing new business. This role requires a hunter mentality and someone who will aggressively pursue and create new opportunities and not be solely dependent on marketing to generate leads. Knowledge of the EHS and compliance space would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Sell TotalSDS’ products and services to Chief Compliance Officers, Chemists, EHS Specialists and Safety Managers.
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycles to close new business.
  • Grow and maintain an accurate and healthy pipeline of business through prospecting efforts.
  • Learn the TotalSDS product and service offerings in order to conduct demos, present TotalSDS value proposition, prepare proposals and overcome objections.
  • Consistently maintain and update Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate and real-time documentation of all prospecting and account activities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales experience with SaaS product(s) – (experience in the EHS industry is preferred, but not required).
  • Positive attitude and energy
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce efficiency preferred) and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to travel to scheduled trade show events.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
